Alrighty. With this new AliExpress code posted yesterday, many have asked for a good watch to purchase with it. Well luckily, I think i may have found a very nice one, that I happened to have received a few days ago in the post and after wearing it, can fully recommend it.

This PD-1676 is a homage to the Rolex Daytona - Paul Newman Chronograph and looks awesome, with a nicely brushed/polished oyster style bracelet to boot. Though not an automatic, it does come with a Seiko Mechaquartz VK63 movement which is extremely accurate and should last about 3 years without a battery change. Comes in both a white and black dial.

      Problem is the price has been jacked, currently US$62.94 but it was recently US$57.30 + coupons made it ~AU$88.35 del.

      I don't like it when they have coupons & it's more expensive than not even 2 weeks ago.

        Trying to keep up with prices on AliX is a mugs game I reckon. It always seems it was cheaper two weeks ago no matter when you look. The OP's Pagani Newman for example has definitely been less than $75 in recent history.

        I'm going to keep an eye on this turquoise number and pull the trigger if it drops below $100.

        What a load of guff. Dude's schooling us in being gentlemanly and having self-respect while shilling a Seiko and talking about "quality".
        Good thing the comments are disabled. He'd have been mocked to buggery.

        Seiko is what happens when the gouge gets nasty — lower input costs and quality while upping prices.
        Kill a great brand like Pulsar because it's stealing sales. What did they give us? Alba!

          Seems your main issue is with Seiko quality control which hasn't always been a problem. The video is 7 years old.

            The only corporate value left is profit. The car industry had a similar experience when lower priced competition entered. The bar lowers in a race to the bottom.

            Today, if you want to feel short-changed, go ahead and buy a Seiko!

              @Speckled Jim: In addition to killing Pulsar, they killed their best value watches like the SKX and SARB models, then relaunched the 5 lineup to be pricier than before

              I miss the old Seiko

          I have an omega speed master vest purchase i honestly made such a beautiful watch and the craftsmanship and history of the watch makes it even more desirable to wear!

          Buy what you can afford is the main thing some of these rep models look nice and are great entrance prices for desired looks however if you are looking more into investing in watches the more topper end hold their value pretty well (depends on which ones) and can resell it on after a couple years!
