TA’s handy tips

A new customer is defined by NordVPN, and nothing to do with your Cashrewards account. Simply use a new email address at their end, the same Cashrewards account as always, and you're good to go.

Click 'Shop Now' or 'Shop Offer' and buy - don't click away to other sites looking for codes and don't use any 3rd party plugins. Best to use the Cashrewards mobile app on 4G/5G as this eliminates potential issues with WiFi/router firewalls etc. Tracking for NordVPN typically takes 1-4 hours.

Remove any up-sold products from your cart such as NordPass & NordLocker as they are ineligible for cashback.

A tip from comments in previous posts is to select a country with no GST to save further at checkout as GST is ineligible for cashback.

          Hey @IndianWarrior, as @ldd-mn has previously mentioned its a media centre. Similar to Netflix as in userface, list of movies/shows search function etc but obviously it's not a "paid service".

          Torrentio is the add-on you want on the Stremio app to watch streams.

          And yes you can download Stremio on your phone.

      I used Nord in the past and now want to switch to Express VPN. I found Nord is slow and detectable/blocked in Turkey, where I buy most of my subscriptions from. Did you use Express VPN to purchase/stream anything from Turkey?

    Signed up and put in the new email address.
    It's already charged the card, I got no email about resetting the password etc and it's not showing in the Cash Rewards app
    Tried to reset password on the email I put in as well and it doesn't send a link

    So yeah at no point did it ask to setup the account etc.. so I've paid for nothing right now

        Purposely turned that all off. Just had the app on 5G
        Just not sure if it has something to do with purchasing inside the app

        It doesn't show as a transaction in the app either

      CR tracking email took about 30mins from the last deal. Raise a ticket with NordVPN.

      I signed up to NordVPN under the last deal and it's pretty good. Though, my bar may be set low as I've only had Ivacy and used it seldomly. Ivacy's ping and connection was slow on distant servers.

      Edit: Read CR's terms and conditions and whether it tracks via the app. I purchased on a desktop.

      Yeah I also buy from desktop, not sure if the tracking cookie can happened via app.
      If not tracking you can always refund and try again.

    Well I got the cashback email now but another issue
    For the 2 year Standard plan it saying the payback will be $126 AUD, but I was charged $177 AUD

    So something wrong there as it's not 97%

      I made a typo in the email which is why I didn't get it.
      The price discrepancy is because they said I purchased the bundle subscription which I specifically checked that I didn't
      So I had to request a refund.

      Not sure if I can try again from a different email

        Tried again with a different email.
        The first one came through in 30 mins. This one hasn't come through now and its been 3 hours

        So maybe you can't do it twice :(

        I assume the cancelling of the first one.. the cash rewards won't be approved as well

    Signed up using the CashRewards mobile app.
    Although it wouldnt play nice with PayPal, which I wanted to use to cancel the auto-debit.
    Set the VAT/GST country to "British Virgin Islands" so that I didnt pay the additional 10%.
    Total cost was $129.20, cashback should be $125.32.

    It also wouldnt play nice within the CashRewards app after purchase when it tries to guide you to install the app and login, as it kept closing the window.
    Hope this hasn't impacted the tracking.

    Will know in 1 to 4 hours if its worked. If not then will opt for refund, but wont be making another attempt.

      did the same, selected ''British Virgin Islands'' to save 10% on GST. $129 deducted, got email from CashRewards within 15 minutes to confirm 126.26 cashback

      Edit: this for standard plan for 2 years ( with 3 months extra )
