Eligible purchases do not include Cash Advances, Balance Transfers, Special Promotions, BPAY payments, purchases of foreign currency and travellers cheques, transactions made in operating a business, chargebacks, refunds, payments to other Citi branded accounts, fees and charges such as interest and ATM charges, transactions made using Points and government related transactions. Government related transactions include transactions with government or semi-government entities, or relating to services provided by or in connection with government (for example but not limited to transactions made at Australia Post, payments to the Australian Taxation Office, council rates, motor registries, tolls, parking stations and meters, fares on public transport, fines and court related costs). Please note that whether or not a purchase is eligible will be determined based on card scheme information ultimately provided either by the merchant (including individual outlets) or its financial institution (including information about the type of business conducted by the merchant). This means that, for example, spend with certain merchants may be characterised as spend with a government related entity and therefore not an eligible purchase, even if that merchant is not in fact a government related entity.

  • I got a $50 one but my CC is coming up for renewal next month.

Looking at the terms: "eVoucher will be available for your redemption within 10 weeks after the end of the Promotion Period" so 10 weeks after 15 December 2023.

Don't think I'll be keeping it that long. This was a churn and burn, although the PayAll was useful for getting reward pts.

Wonder if this is targeted so people stay and pay for the next annual fee.

    • hm… good thoughts
My renewal is also due next month
applied last year with the 300k bonus points + 1st year half fee offer

$500 is still an easy spend (to get some discounted GC etc) so I probably will give it a go before renewal date

      • So you are keeping your card for another year at full fee?

        • probably not, $700 without bonus points isnt too attractive for me
since I already got the free-for-life premier I am still able to get up to 10000 points for PayAll per month

  • +1

I've got a prestige but didn't get the offer

  • Nothing for my prestige and premier.

Remember getting similar offer last year tho.
