  • Seems like a decent budget tablet at a reasonable price. JB currently has this on sale for $399. Can anyone who has bought one comment on the performance & build quality?

Purchased one for the oldies for general internet usage and media consumption, very good build quality survived a few drops with no case on it. Having the precision pen is a benefit for those who are not great at using tech as it seems more natural for people to poke the screen with a pen type object. Performance has been swift with all general usage and some light gaming. Screen is bright and clear, battery lasts several days of casual usage.

Would recommend this to people who want something solid and reliable without either going into the higher end market or if you are unsure about getting imported Aliexpress tablets.

Edit: I have the 2021 model which has a Snapdragon chip.

Bought one recently with JB $20 Perks credit. It's an excellent media consumption tablet with a high-res screen and quad speaker set up. I replaced my iPad Mini 6 with it due to the Mini screen being too small for my eyes. This cheap replacement does all I need it to do, which is browsing, YouTube, Netflix etc. The tablet size is prefect, not too big and not small either, battery lasts more than 10 hrs.

The only downside is that Netflix doesn't work in background mode, so you can't have it playing in a mini player while browsing. Also the Double Tap to Wake feature stops working if the screen is off for more than a certain period. I think these issues are to do with the Android 12L OS, hopefully will be resolved with Android 13 which should be released soon.

  • Anyone have any experience with the pen and something like Onenote? Any good?

  • Excuse my ignorance but can you link a keyboard to it?

You should be able to get a cheap bluetooth kb for it or you might want this one
