Cancelling accounts is what all the cool banksters are doing these days.

Serious question: wtf is a cryptobro shrimp??

    • +6

The “shrimps” here refer to investors who are carrying less than 1 BTC in their wallets.

Apparently the opposite of a "whale". Maybe they decided on a better term for "small fry".

      Shrimp: less than 1 BTC
      Crab: 1 to 10 BTC
      Octopus: 10 to 50 BTC
      Fish: 50 to 100 BTC
      Dolphin: 100 to 500 BTC
      Shark: 500 to 1000 BTC
      Whale: >1000 BTC
      Humpback: >5000 BTC

Don't click Dailymail rubbish tabloid links but as always expect there's more to the story than they fabricate and exaggerate for clicks. Tons of people buy crypto just fine.

Banks chose accounts if they believe you are money laundering.

By law they can not tell you the reason why. The bank tellers & call centres can not tell you why.
