  • Jeez grind adjustment seems like a pain in the ass. Ill stick with my $80 manual grinder with 240 levels of adjustment.

    • Ok I will bite, do you have a link to your one please?

      • Probably 1zpresso K4 (or K6 - forget which one goes down to $80-90 on sale).

        • Sorry, not 1zpresso - Kingrinder, I meant. Brain fart!

      • Yeah the kingrinder k4 on amazon sale.

  • Good price for entry level espresso (and other) grinder. Personally went for a Baratza Encore ESP for easier adjustment.

Am I the only person who read this as Optus grinder?

      Yeah

Sometimes I feel like I'd like to put Optus through a grinder

That's what my kids saying, too! :)

For anyone wondering, this is not suitable for grinding espresso.

    • Wow really!!! But it's $300.

    • Are you mixing this up with the Ode? Because that one's the filter grinder, and all the reviewers for the Opus treat it as an espresso grinder

      • oh maybe, my impression was that none of the fellow grinders were aimed at espresso, and definitely not for $300.

        • Actually on further reading, it seems like the Opus is more general purpose and 'espresso-capable', judging by the adjustment ring. Perhaps that's common in this price range? $300 is pretty low end in terms of powered espresso-focused grinders

          • @grackfight420: Yes, that's what I really like it. Opus has definitely value. Good Price.

    • Hi! I am using Opus grinder for our blends as well. it works nicely for me, for last three months :)

I am using breville oracle coffee mahcine at home!

    • I think fellow made this grinder to break into the espresso grinding market, its just a bit of an annoyance to dial in.

    • I stand corrected, seems like most users say it is capable of espresso, although the workflow may not be as optimised as aome of the more expensive grinders.

  • Please tell me your best model is called Deus?
