Roborock Q Revo Robotic Vacuum and Mop Cleaner - White $1,799.10 (Inc Delivery) @ David Jones

190

Still a rip off by Roborock when it's so much cheaper overseas.
But my floors need mopping, the baby's puking, dogs peeing, missus shedding and I need to sleep.

Looks like this is as cheap as it gets before BF. Bite the bullet this time and ordered it.

Stacks with cashback of your choice.
Free delivery but comes with express shipping if ordered through cashrewards.

I'm a couple of days late, but, R U OK?

he may not later when the robot is dragging the dog shit around the house

  • and Q Revo Pro (P10 Pro) is coming….. not saying you need it but Q Revo may get even cheaper

FYI because I didn’t see it mentioned here at the time, I’m pretty sure this was $1,699 from Roborock direct during their Father’s Day sale. I wasn’t ready to buy then so I’m hoping they’ll run a similar price on Black Friday or Boxing Day.

  • Wouldn't the Dreame L10 Prime be a better deal at 1399 (and I think CBA50 gives another $50 off) for the same functionality? Genuine question https://dreame.com.au/products/dreame-l10-prime

    • The L10 Prime doesn't automatically empty the dustbin.

  • How good are these mop cleaners?
Do I need to remove them when just vacuuming the floor or can I be adjusted via app?

    $1680 on JB commercial portal

    • Shows as $1845.56 for me, $1677.78 ex GST

    • I access through ART but no Q Revo. Only s8+

      • gg, must have been removed. I bought for 1680 like a month ago.

        • Yeah it got removed the week before JB did a retail promo for $1899 and hasn't been back since. I've been keeping an eye out to see if it comes back, kicking myself for not ordering then but wasn't great timing.

  • If you're not fixed on the Roborock brand, I might suggest waiting for the Ecovacs X2 Omni to come out next week. They have a bad rep for their app but I've tried it and it's been really good….and not having that Lidar bit on top made it better.

TGGC had it for 1947 but it looks like they took it off.

    • Just curious are you using the app on iPhone or Android? I thought there were other reasons to dislike Ecovacs, just generally Roborock > Ecovacs. Have you had any issues beyond the app? Not having LiDAR is meant to help with glass windows and mirrors, I assume?

      • The X2 still uses LiDAR it’s just built into the body of the vacuum rather than being on top. I used the app on iPhone and it is terrible I bought a T20 Omni recently and returned it within a week. The robot would run and then remap the house to include duplicates of rooms, this happened several times and got to the point that I couldn’t complete a full clean.

Ended up getting this from JB and instantly you can tell the night and day difference in apps, Roborock seem to edge out the competition here which is such a shame as the Ecovacs robots seem high quality and have more features.

        • Can't speak to T20 omni which btw, I almost got but then saw the x2.

I've never had a roborock either so can't judge on how much better it is but so far, no remapping issues with the x2

          • @rezgad: Interesting might have been a faulty unit that’s for sure, that was my only time using a Ecovacs but I’ve had the S5 in the past from Roborock.

I was super interested in the X2 because the shape should work much better when it comes to edge pickup. For now I’m happy with the Q Revo.

            • @playaz91: can vouch for the shape. i thought the square might've had issues with cleaning around cylindrical shapes like sofa feet but I was worried for nothing. corners are good too.

      • This 1 has lidar, it just isn't in the top dome as other robots usually have. It's on the front and after using this for a while, I've not had ant issues with the robot or the app. Even the OK, Yiko voice commands works great though u need to give it a second after calling it or it won't recognise what's said.

My understanding from others is the robot needs decent wifi coverage throughout the house as the robot itself doesn't use GPS to know where it is. Don't know what the complaints with the app are as I've had 0 issues.

The remapping that happens mid job is possibly a result of the lost wifi connection.

    • X2 Omni didn’t do so well in this guy’s test (German, turn on caption translation)
      https://youtu.be/HQmkrwQKBoc

      • The object avoidance I do agree isn't fully on point most likely cause it no longer has the dome lidar and can bump into stuff outside of its 'view'

It also can have issuew with mats if theyre lightweight. Mine pushes them away instead of vacuum ing on top of it

  • Waiting to see how much dreame L20 ultra is going to be.

  • I panicked and got the s8+ for $1596.

    • I panicked and previously purchased the Dreame L10s ultra… good price at $1150.
Was eying out the Roborock but glad I jumped on it

      • I was after the dual brushes and advanced object detection. My old s5 max kept sucking up cables and shoe laces. Here’s hoping!

Thanks OP. After a whole day of mulling over and going over millions of reviews - bit the bullet. Went up to my local JB who bettered the deal by charging $1,700 and a warranty extension to 5 years ( some sort of care plan) for $170. Anyway have it all setup …..let’s see how we go :)

    • Lucky, best they would do was $1844 which is still pretty high given the $1680~ price on the commercial store previously. Ah well.

  • Price back to $1,999.
