Adaptor or Website to Listen to Music on My iPhone or iPad

I have a mix of lossless tracks and mp3 tracks of music I want to listen from my iPad or iPhone can I stick them on a usb stick and then listen to them on either device if so what do I need.
I need to get i usb stick from a store and preferably cheap, I do have lots of usb sticks already but maybe I need something else to plug this into as I’m sure I can’t just plug into the devices.

I may have a sd card reader already that is for iPhone and iPad I need to check as never used it, can I just use that.

Some of my MP3’s I believe can go on iTunes then I can transfer to my phone but lossless i not sure about as it’s new to me.
Or is there free software I can put the lossless tracks on to then transfer to my phone.

  • have you tried TIDAL Hifi Plus? The tracks may be on there. I can look them up for you and let you know.

  • I don’t have Apple Music I subscribe to a place where I get music each month.
it used to be cd’s which yes are dated but I prefer but has gone digital now.
I wanted them in lossless flc which is better than mps.for the best quality and so I can make my own cds of them for personal use.
I will also be able keep them in the best format.
As I’m going to do bit away on holidays I wanted to take these extra tracks to listen to.

I already did with my own cds put them on to my pc then added them from iTunes to my phone.
So wondered if I put all these tracks on a usb i could somehow listen to them on my phone as well.
I don’t have to use them on my journey going away I can always get it done for my return but obviously I would need to copy the music on a usb so I have them on me.

    Hopefully this makes sense.

Plug in your phone into your computer and use iTunes to transfer the music across?

  • If you have an Apple Music subscription, or are paying for iTunes Match if Apple still offer that service, you can actually add them to the Apple Music app by signing into iTunes on a PC or Mac, adding the songs, then uploading to cloud. Then (after a little while after uploaded) they will just appear in the Apple Music app/iTunes app anywhere that you are signed in. If your songs are original they will just upload as is, but if they are rips of commercially available music then the iTunes Match system will replace them with higher quality iTunes versions.

Otherwise just get an app like VLC or whatever and play your music files on that.

  • Download and open Airmore from the app store.
Then on your PC, go to www.web.airmore.com and click RADAR to connect your iPhone and PC.

Upload to your iCloud drive and listen through the VLC App
