Looking at getting this air cooler to replace my AIO (just want this simplicity of air over AIO)
I have a 5900x in a P500a case with arctic p14 (3 X intake, 1 X exhaust)
Any other suggestions besides this air cooler?
Amazon has it for $68. Should I look at putting arctic P12 fans over the stock ones?
And if anyone has a similar combo, what are your temperatures (idle/gaming/load)?
I got one of those Peerless Assassin coming tomorrow. I hope it's as good as Gamer Nexus said it is.
The ARGB version of the PS120SE seems to be the same price at 52.90, unless I'm looking at something else

I heard their stock fans are not that great, so yeah putting some arctic p12's sounds good and you can get rid of RGB
I run the phantom spirit with a 7800x3d. It’s so good coming from an aging AIO that was somehow loud af. I will never go water again.
Running it with 5800X3D and it keeps it cool.

The review is for Ryzen 7000 series, but should be fine for 5900x. Reviewer considers the PS120SE to be the top contender. Others such as Frost Spirit, Peerless Assassin, and AK620 fairs pretty decent as well.
Have bought both PA and PS model from Amazon. Really does cool very well and noise levels reasonable on stock and great on custom fan curve in bios.
Tried on a 5800x, 5800x3d and 7800x3d in itx cases.

This is very similar to the PS120SE, just one less heat pipe. I would expect very similar performance.
