Thought it was a typo at first. Confusing name for a business. Shopping? Shipping?

Booster offers are paid out in Shping Coins
As the value of Shping Coins may fluctuate from time to time … it is recommend to cash out immediately upon receiving Coins

What does that mean? Is this cryptocurrency? It is unclear from the deal and in the link.

    • Yes, it Shping Coins are the utility token that is used as the native reward system in the app.
You don't need to know anything about cryptocurrency and can simply transfer to your bank account in Aussie dollars.
For those who are interested in cryptocurrency and web3, we are listed on Coinbase and have a Coinbase wallet integration to transfer your coins.

  • Everyone should be aware before embarking on the 'Shping' thing, that they only allow you to withdraw $20 worth of your 'Shping coins' per month. So if you have a bunch of coins saved up, and the price of Shping coins goes up a bit and you want to cash them out, you can't. Their advice is to 'cash out' every single receipt/coin you earn immediately, but doing that gets very tedious very quickly. I started using Shping a month or so ago and at first I was impressed with it; but then I hit upon this nonsensical monthly $20 limit. That completely ruined the experience, and now I'm done with it.

      • What happened OP, did you remove the cap?

    • Sorry to hear you didn't have a good experience.

Are you aware it is possible to increase your limit?

The $20 tier limit is for members on the 'basic' level, and you can unlock up to $50 limit by purchasing participating withdrawal booster products.
You can also 'level up' to increase your tier limit up to $75 a month.

What are your thoughts on this?

      • My thoughts on this is:

Why do you have any limits at all? All it does is stop people using the app. For example, right now I have about $30 credit in it but I can't withdraw anything for almost a month; so I've stopped using the app, because there's no point. When the month is over, I'll cash out another $20, then I'll again have reached the limit, so for the next month there's no point using the app either. So maybe I'll start using the app again in 2 or 3 months? But probably not, because this monthly limit thing is tedious/ruins the experience.

Appreciate the feedback! We want to make sure our rewards program is as enjoyable and rewarding as possible.

It appears that we need to improve our communication regarding limit-related information. It seems that you, and possibly other members, may not realise that simply using the app in conjunction with your everyday shopping activities will naturally lead to levelling up, and your withdrawal limit should always be above your monthly earnings.

With the introduction of Coin Boosters, we have also introduced Withdrawal Boosters to help members to increase their withdrawal limit up to $500 per month. Hope this eliminates your concern, but we are here to answer any further questions you may have.

          • @TeamShping: Why do you have any limit? What function does it serve?

@GnarlyKnuckles: We have limits for a few reason. They help protect against fraud, but also ensure the program remains sustainable and we can continue to bring high value rewards to our members.
