Please Suggest a Decent $50- $100 Wireless Over The Ear Headphone for WFH/Online Meetings

Hello, I have been rocking my Taotronics SoundSurge 85 (tt-bh085) for few years and happy with it.

However, I need another cheap (budget $50-$100) Over The Ear Headphone (with Wireless/Bluetooth function) for Work From Home/Online Meetings etc.

I would have bought another Taotronics headphones but Amazon don't sell them anymore.
I heard some other companies sell rebadged Taotronics but I dont know which one are these…

I checked the forums but unable to find any recent post recommending what I am looking for. There is a poll for Best Budget Wireless Earphones or Earbuds under $80 but I couldn't find anything for Over the ear Headphones…

Could you please suggest a cheap and decent Wireless Over The Ear Headphone?

My budget is around $50-$100, I think I paid $60-$70 for the Taotronics.

Thanks heaps.

I have been rocking my Taotronics SoundSurge 85 (tt-bh085) for few years and happy with it.

What's wrong with the pair that you have? Are you after something with a boom mic?

For WFH, I use a pair of headphones with BTANC(Momentum 3) or a wired set and my webcam mic.

    • Thanks for the reply.

My Taotronics is connected to my Desktop PC. But I will be using my work laptop and need another headphone for that.

I tried to use Taotronics on multi device but its very painful to pair and unpair devices, so convenient for me to leave it connected with my Desktop PC.

I can also keep the new one in my backpack and use it when I am in the office and attending teams meeting etc.

I'm not too familiar with headphones at this point. I would watch some common tags(eg: headphones and just buy a set of headphones when something comes up.

As a random example the Q30 is currently $99.99 and that looks like it is priced OK based on previous deals.

Is there a reason some cheap Bluetooth headphone from Kmart would not do the job ?? if you only gonna be using for like Online meetings/Work from home etc. ??
Trust me Kmart's bluetooth ones are decent quality, they do not break easily (not in terms of electronics IMO, they have broken for my sister onces in middle of the plastic bit).

But even then the $$ price for a broken one after like 2 years or so is not gonna be that big of deal.

I personally use this T2-T5 headphone from eBay bought like 1.5 yrs ago or so. Mic seemed to have broken away (but I dont care about mic that much - personally, you would ofcouse). But battery life on this one is really good, lasts me 2-3 days. and got dual language (mandarin and english) plus annoying RGB light on it too. Kmart ones didnt have broken mic or speaker or other electronics bit though (just not so great battery life)

    • Thanks mate for your reply.

I will check Kmart ones… there are lots of options on Amazon but don't know which one to pick.

I have an old Sony Wireless Headphone which apparently is not good for Online meeting as I received feedbacks that my sound is not clear to others.

I used a few different BT headsets previously and all had issues for the same purpose you are proposing. BT disconnecting, poor mic, Win10 being stupid etc.

Went to a 3.5mm plug in headset with mic and they just. work. for calls, team meetings and out and about.

    • Ahh OK, thanks for the feedback
Unfortunately wired is not an option for me as my work laptop doesn't have the 3.5mm ports. I could perhaps buy USB to 3.5mm converter but preferring wireless/Bluetooth for ease of use

Why not just buy this? https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/314596598468 - Under $41 with coupon code SEPP17
Edit: Apparently, it has a 70 hour battery life and includes a USB Type C to 3.5mm to connect it wired.
Or this https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354090695264 - $42.30 with the same coupon

Edit 2: I use cheap Mpow H7s at work and they've worked fine for me, connected to my Dell 7490 work laptop.
But the Mpow H7 is actually on the ear.

    • Thanks - will check it out.
There are plenty of similar ones but wanted to get some feedbacks if anybody would recommend any specific model

Baseus is a known brand here on OzBargain. Might be better if you buy the Baseus one.
