Do Any Private Health Insurance Companies Provide Benefits with Plus Fitness?

Looking to change my Private Health off Bupa to something that has gym benefits, but preferably something that has benefits with Plus Fitness or allows you to use any gym (mainly because it's the only gym within walking distance to me).

The only one I could find on Google was Medibank, but it's for the corporate insurance or something. Hoping someone might have a recommendation for me.

  • Have you tried googling for "health insurance with gym membership"

I get all sorts of info.

You can claim on gym membership and weight management programs if you have Extras health cover that includes Healthier Lifestyle benefits.

    Lol PHI and "benefits"

    Biggest lobbyist rort in history.

  • I had Bupa's $5000pa plan. I tried claiming my gym membership and they laughed at me.

      We're literally cash cows.

      • Imagine how good the public health system would be if all the money went there instead.

        • 100% agree, i'd much rather put the money i spend ($1000 a year) into the public health system rather than a private health system that literally provides zero incentive to join unless i am a pensioner with multiple health issues - even then the public system does a fairly good job.
