The laptop is good for home use, but if you need to us it on the go, the battery does not last more than 6 hours.

    • As a student what type of laptop should i buy? Can you give advice? What about macbook air m1? is this good for engineering students?

      • Just get a MacBook Air M1, if you don't mind MacOS its an easy choice. Probably most of your class mates will be using the same thing.

Lol no. That is terrible advice.

          • @SvcKpc: No its great advice. It is almost unanimously recommended as easily the best casual and student laptop also with the ability to use for casual audio, photography and videography.

There's no bullshit software built in, has a fantastic build quality, screen, weight, is fast and snappy in performance and has incredibly good battery life.

I don't give a (profanity) what people use but it's just so damn rediculous to pretend these aren't great for what they offer a lot of people at the price and exceptionally well suited for student given the points above.

Let's hear what your recommendation is.

        • Why this is terrible advice? Can you give an explanation? I want to do machine learning stuffs. Is this a future proof laptop?

        • Yep that's great! Don't know how that takes away from M1 air though.

      • Just get the m1.

  • 1.4kg, shes a bit heavy, for a 14" I guess that's not terrible.
