Hi Guys,
I & my partner both got 3200 Krisflyer points each and expiring in 7 days.
I could not transfer to velocity as it needs to be minimum 5000 points to transfer each.
It does not allow me pool 3200 & 3200 points either.
I tried Kris shop but international shipping cost does not make it worthwhile to buy anything with points.
Any other way to use the points ?

Find a flight you want to redeem and transfer in some more points for each of you?
no confirmed next travel plan. & dont have enough velocity points either to transfer.
Do you have friends living in Singapore or Johore? Can send/gift them the item.
I once have to a friend to redeem a short/ cheap flight.
dont have anyone in singapore.
found an option to extend the validity which will cost 1200 points each.
For how long?
6 months.

Can any kind OzBargainer pick up the item for you from SG ?
A couple of times (with Asia Miles and Emirates Skywards),
I had very little amount of points in my balance,
that I redeemed for small gift items (eg. bags, clock radio),
and I had people I knew pick up the item for me, etc.
Looking to do the same, and I saw somewhere it was $12US to extend upto 10,000 points for another 6 months.
I think the website is down today though as I was not able to do mine.
Think I used just over 9000 points and got about $100 AUD off the flight.
You stand to lose about 30 AUD.
Then again, I thought a free flight Sydney Bris or Mel to Bangkok was only 50,000 points, so I don't know how they work out the value.
I had less than that and gave up trying to find ways to use/keep them.
