Recommend a Handheld Vacuum Cleaner

I've had the Xiaomi MI C1 handheld vacuum cleaner for about 3 years now and it's finally showing signs of slowing down.

Could someone please recommend an. Upgraded version (can be a different brand).

To give some wonky parameters something that has around 20% better suction, robustness and battery life would be what I am looking for and if it came in at less than $400 well that would be icing on the cake.

I would mainly use it to clean up after my 3 year old as she lays waste to floor boards and one large living room rug.

  Using the https://www.ozbargain.com.au/product/dreame-v9 daily for a few years now. It has sucked up maybe 10kg of pet hair in that time (probably more, but I am being conservative) and it it all comes apart so you can easily rinse the non-electronic parts and also the filter
