Let me guess OP. You already have this watch?

    • +1

No, I have many Turtles but not this one

        • Sounds like bad QC, typical Seiko shit

          • @rosebank: Yeah maybe been sitting or not enough oil, one side was fine. Will just wear and take note of the accuracy, not as bad as I thought (and was fairly magnetised).

Prefer it to the bigger turtles and samurais anyway.

            • @G-rig: Does it look better irl? I don't get to see mine until late Oct

              • +1

                @rosebank: Yes pretty nice mate!!

              • @rosebank: PS. Thinner and lighter than the steeldive.
Kind of on the last micro adjust though.
Still a heavy watch but king turtles are more.

      • It would look good on you.

  • +2

Nice colourway the Padi edition. Great legibility.
Big watch and heafty @ 198g, but a very reasonable lug-lug of 47.7mm.

Wouldn't be a bad dive watch if you only wanted one (although I would be tempted to get a date only solar in that case, not as traditional but settings Day and month on an auto gets tedious quick). Also be a good one if you actually went diving.

The King Turtle JDM for $400 was probably better value but still like the blue highlights.

This is a really nice colour way and looks even better in person. I probably would have grabbed this if I didn’t already have a Pepsi padi and an oz special edition.

    Nice watch. Random Rob review.

Shame no milled clasp but they keep that for the 6R watches I guess.

  • The cyclops on this is goofy AF

They are easily removed. Just look on YouTube.

    • So is the day wheel.
Most people should know what day it is when they are setting it every other day.
