Graphics Card RMA Issues

Hi, I was just wanting to get some info on how an RMA usually goes

I started an RMA at the start of this month with XFX, they were usually replying every 2 days or so to my messages. After telling them what was wrong with the gpu, they asked me to ship it to them and I did.

They received the gpu on the 9th of September and did testing same day and got back to me that it was faulty and they will send a replacement and give me a tracking number when they do.

It's been over 2 weeks since then and nothing, I've send about 3 messages in that time but they've stopped replying.

Is that normal for RMA?

    Is there a number to call?

    • They have one but it's for American customers, should I just try that?

      • Yeah? Unless you can't.

      • If I were in your situation, I'd be calling. Can't imagine there's too much OZB can do about this situation.

        Calling US isn't hard, just gotta work around the time zones.

    • Yeah I'd be considering a chargeback at this point.

  • Just got an message from FedEx that they have my package, also a long wait at least it's coming.

    What was the video card ? 2 weeks doesnt seem to be too long, sometimes it can take up to a month for some rmas.

    • yeah was my first time doing an rma so wasn't sure how long it usually took. The time wasn't the problem, just the lack of replies or updates
      card was rx 6800, just stopped showing a signal

      • The card was released quite a while ago, they probably didn't have stock on hand and needed to get it sent from the us.

        that would explain the 2 weeks.

        • Yeah, just happy that i got the shipping notification today. Will know that they can take a while if i need to do an rma again now
