Garment Steamer Recommendation

My iron just broke, so I'm thinking of getting a garment steamer. I don't iron much, probably only a pair or shirt or trousers a fortnight. Would a steamer be a good option, and if so, which model should I go for?

Any model of Braun CareStyle, with this one being the cheapest for now: https://www.myer.com.au/p/braun-carestyle-3-pro-steam-statio…

How wrinkled are your clothes? I have one of these which I like. The downside is if you hAve something very creased a steamer ain’t as good as an iron

It’s great for a touch up but not good to get rid of a lot of creases

  • Don't irons came with a steam button on them?

    • Steam stations produce dry steam, irons can only do wet steam.

      • Ahh. What's the difference? Maybe I should get a dry clothes steamer. I do have a few linen shirts which are a pain to iron.

The Braun CareStyle models are a collaboration with DeLonghi, they use espresso machine tech to produce a much higher volume of steam than an iron (which is more like a stovetop espresso machine). Everyone I know who upgrades to a steam station hates themself for not owning this appliance sooner.
