Hey all, I am on the lookout for ANC headphones, I am looking around the $200 mark as I do not want to break the bank (possibly stretch to $300).
I already have AirPods (non ANC) and I am looking for ANC headphones to listen to music and watch movies when I am flying and also block out noise when I am working or studying in the library.
From my research there have been allot of recommendations for the Anker Soundcore Q45 and it is on sale on the Soundcore website and I could get it for around the $154 mark (it is now reduced to $170 and I can get an extra 10% off).
At the same time, Anker has now released the new Soundcore Space One which I can also get for around the $150 mark.
From what I can tell from my research on both the headphones is that the Q45 sounds better, mixed reviews for both of these for ANC with some reviews saying that ANC is better on the Space One, the Space One is lighter so feels less heavy on the head and the Q45 has more padding but is bulkier.
I am totally lost as to which is a better headset so I am reaching out to the community to see if anyone has these headphones. Maybe it is better to wait until there is an epic deal and pay around the $300 mark for Bose or Sony headsets should such a deal arise.
Any advice / help would be sincerely appreciated!
Prime day in 2 weeks. Expected some drops especially around the Bose which are being superceded by new models. I find the bose 35s much more comfortable than the 700s. You often see the Sony on special here esp refurbished; I'm not big on the sound but it can be eq'd and the noise cancelling for your purposes is very good.
Sorry I don't have experience with the ankers - I've seen the good reviews but can't comment.
