How exactly does it help with diabetic symptoms?

  • +2

The socks help to prevent injury and infection to the diabetic foot

They have blind seams (less irritation) and they are non binding at the cuff (so they dont constrict the leg)

They also have a mild compressive force to help with venous return and limit swelling (without constricting the leg).

The help to limit the complications from diabetic infection.

    I hope this helps

  • My dad isn't diabetic, but has circulation issues on all of his extremities, including bypasses on his leg and Raynauds syndrome in mainly his hands. Considering buying a weeks worth of these to kit him out, would these be good for situation? TIA! <3

  • +1

    Yes they would be great.

Diabetics have circulation issues, so the socks are not constrictive but firm enough to grip the foot and not bunch up.

The blind (no) seams will also help to limit the irritation over any of the lesions your dad may get from raynauds syndrome in his feet. They will also keep them warm which will help also.

I wear them to work every day and they are very comfortable.

    I hope this helps.

  • Thanks for that, I just know he HATES cuffs. He will cut any cuff on socks he has.. 😅 And yeah, he like always has colder than normal feet. So when it's cold, he really feels cold. Not sure if he's had any real issue with irritation though. But these sound golden!

Will sit down tomorrow morning on the PC and order a bunch, and see what else I could get him to reach that free shipping.. 😅

Edit: I couldn't get the site to load the sizing picture, but it's hella confusing if you refer to this image from another website on the same product. Dad usually wears a 41.5 - 42 I think, which according to the "Medium, Large, X-Large sizing, would be a medium. So that corresponding 41.5 - 42euro is a size AU/US mens 9 but the selection on the website shows the Medium as M6-8 or W7.5-9.5?

    • +1

Your dad will be a Meidum size. Thanks for checking.

  • No delivery to Melbourne?
"Your order cannot be shipped to the selected address. Review your address to ensure it's correct and try again, or select a different address."

    • That is strange as we deliver Australia Wide

      • edit: doesn't accept PayPal inserted address.
Just clicked to the "change" address, didn't changed anything, saved and then accepted.
        Some kind of bugs.
        Bought one, thank you.

        • Great to hear, and thanks for the update. You will love the socks.

  • Oft, just made my order in time with 2 of those hell insoles! I'm really hoping they fit because I have a pack of 9 or something, "Miracle Socks" in S/M that are compression socks that were supposed to fit too but were way too tight for dad.

  • Well that was a giant waste of time @docpods..

Order partially cancelled, I only spent more to reach $50 and the main product and size I needed for dad was cancelled. So now I have a whole order I don't even want..

Karma to me for bothering to buy from a no-name garbage website.

    • Free return if unused apparently

      • That's even more unneeded timewasting. And now I need to spend more time bothering to buy from the next dodgy no-name website. OzB is turning into OzRefund. I think almost 50% of my orders from here as of late, is just garbage companies taking money and refunding a week later.. Going to have to cut back on trawling through here I think at this rate.

I bought 2 sets and they are great. Wish I had bought more.

  • thanks for the deal OP…bought 6 pairs for my diabetic father. these would not normally be within budget so thanks kindly!
