Sega Megadrive Six Button Nintendo Switch Online Japan Exclusive! Japan Mail Forwarders?

After four of these official nintendo six button switch controllers, Im guessing i could probably just order them online using a vpn to Japan and signing up for one month of nintendo switch online and then use a forwarding company to ship it to Australia?

here is the link to the purchase

5478 yen = $56.57 aud

would anyone recommend a shipping forwarder for japan purchases?
anyone use these guys: https://www.jpn-depot.com/

I know people sell these on ebay for $130+, but the rrp is about roughly $60 australian? so perhaps i could get four shipped to australia for like roughly $280/290?? about 70 each?

UPDATE: Not sure what credit card I would need to to pay for one month as it does not accept my hsbc card, hmmm any suggestions for a credit card that would work with a japanese website?

You can find them at some shops that target international deliveries from Japan like here for $85 a pop plus $20-30 for delivery.

    • thanks, hmm yeah thats better then ebay prices, but I reckon if order four directly and use a forwarder it may still come out cheaper

    • Postage is a killer, came up at $73

I use shipito.com for US mail redirects. They have a facility in Japan now so they can be used for Japanese redirects. But for Japan I was already using tenso.com

    • how was tenso.com? how much do you think it would be roughly to ship a small-medium size box maybe just under 2kg to western australia?

Tenso has always been good. Efficient and they give shipping options. International post is generally based on weight or the cubic mass of the parcel, whichever is greater. I wouldnt know the prices offhand. But sometimes its down to the other party using a needlessly large box. Like in the US I currently have a parcel that just contains shirts and for some reason the store i bought from used a box that could fit 10 times the amount I've bought.

  • turns out you need a credit card that works in japan and it can only be visa or mastercard :( anyone know how to get around that loophole?
