Anyone else receive a text saying it is from KFC?

“ KFC here. Who will win? Reply with PANTHERS or BRONCOS by 6pm AEDT. Winners score $3.95 Zinger in the app. First response only accepted. Reply STOP to unsub”

The only thing I could find on it was a post on OzB but it was deleted so I can’t see any replies.

Seems weird and I don’t make a habit of texting unknown numbers. Thought I’d pop it up here for anyone that gets the text today or in the future.

    I now have a phobia of SMS promos or company texts, I don't trust any of it. I now have trust issues lol

    I recently purchased something from Bing Lee and the rest of the payment needed to be through a link via e-mail, but the link came through SMS a few days later and I didn't want to click on it and give my payment details. Called the store, and they resent the SMS on the spot and it was the same SMS details, so I paid via the new link.

    Goes to show I am now skeptical of every SMS

    I also just got the text for the $3.95 zinger.

    edit: pressed the link and it is in my kfc app, redeem between now and 8/10
