    right …

  • Looks good to me, will get the 2 SD cards I think.

edit - ever time I go to order them it says I have not put my phone number in but I have :/

  • 4 and 8gb are so 2 years ago.
photographers are going for 16 and 32gb nowaday

    I wouldn't even bother…..

The smaller the card you use that will do a given job the less data you lose if the card fails before you get to do a backup. I just lost 32GB of video files prior to a backup. Completely dead card, nothing retrievable.

Yeah, just had one completely die on me too! I got mine off ebay, so maybe it was fake and was more likely to fail?
Are the 'genuine' cards less likely to fail? might get one from a trusted retailer if the extra cost is worth it

Just don't mess around with ebay and memory cards unless you know what you're doing in relation to specific sellers, their sourcing of cards, and the testing of cards yourself once you receive them. If you're keen there is much to learn in the many previous memory card posts on Ozbargain and going back quite away you'll find quite a few from me in the threads.
Never buy no-name brand cards, but be aware that Sandisk and Kingston are the most faked. While fake packaging has become far more sophisticated than it was, buying OEM (no retail packaging) hugely multiplies the risk.
Unfortunately for me I fell victim to a now known problem with early batches of Sandisk Ultra class 10 micro cards. Live, learn - and be paranoid about backups.

Actually, for photography, carrying 4 x 8Gb cards is better than 1 x 32Gb card.

Imagine one card becoming corrupted… 100% of your pics, or 25% of your pics gone. Which would you choose??

Good price - same card is $39 at Kogan. My concern is the speed though - Extreme/Extreme Pro would be better options for high end digital cameras with burst raw shooting

    • @superkieu..
Not everyone uses a $10,000 camera.

      • @xywolap..
What a ridiculous statement. My camera cost about ten percent of that and I use a 32GB card. Besides, if you have a $10,000 camera, you'll more than likely be using CF cards - not SD cards.

You still did not get the message intended lad.
Just because you dont have a use for something does not mean the rest of us do not.

for some older cameras and their laptop storage, these 4gb cards are the upper limit.
    perfect - thanks OP.
