SCA's HQ is in Brisbane, so they never adjust for Daylight Savings as they're not based in that timezone.

Yeah most big companies adhere to AEDT as they're generally based in VIC or NSW, but as SCA is QLD based it will always (and has) adhered to AEST.

BCF should be the same yes.

    • Brisbane is a whole other city state world planet

  • The good old AEST vs. AEDT… Oh how I have missed you.

Shopback / Cashrewards make it a nightmare for tracking timed deals. Some are AEST and others AEDT.

    • Try being in WA - two hours behind normally, three in daylight savings.

OP must be feeling real smart right now! 😆

This is the email subject "Super Saver Tuesdays online only offers starts 5pm AEST!" Even says 5PM AEST in the screenshot lol

  • It shouldn't matter where head office is, if they are a nation wide company the specials should run from the earliest timezone.
If they are based in only one state then thats a different story

    • So we're all going to run off WA time now are we?

      • If the head office and stores are in WA why not?
Considering there are ~15.1 million people using DST with the ‘head office’ state population of ~5.3 million they could make the sacrifice to go with the majority.
Having said this I have no idea where the majority of the customers/members are located but assume it would follow the same 3:1 ratio.

You got an extra hour of shopping and are complaining?

    OMG!

Every year Queenslands Optus users need to fumble on their mobiles!

  • It does say AEST, so they have covered their butts!
