[Unobtainable Deal] Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros Cereal 12 x 337g $34 @ KG Superstore via Amazon AU

Moved to Forum: Original Link

Found this very cheap order of American Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros for $34 for 12 337g boxes. This comes down to $1.17/100g which is even cheaper than cereal from the supermarket. The listing gives a price of $10.06 per 100g, but this would only be the case if there was 1 box. Not sure if this is a price error or mistake, but it's hard to pass up $34 for 12 boxes of something that might cost you $15 a box at a convenience store.

Mod: Deal was for 1 box, not 12 boxes. If you have ordered consider contacting Amazon for a refund. Moved to forums.

If Amazon is selling food in Australia, shouldn't they get required to list the standard nutritional information panel?

Don't they normally just throw a sticker on the box to sort all that out?

      What nutrition….

  • Isn't this just 1 box with 12 individual serves?

    • That's what I'm trying to figure out. Sounds like 12 x 337g boxes.

    • I think you're right.

      Fine print says $10.06 /100 g.

  • This cereal is delicious, but my goodness there's a lot of sugar in it!

  • Nestle Cini Minis Churros 360g are half price at Woolies this week, $0.90 / 100G and they're basically the same thing. Also no need to buy 12 boxes.

There is something massively wrong with the star rating scale if a cereal that's 25% sugar gets 2.5 stars…

One of my kids chose this as a holiday treat a while back. Couldn't even get through one bowl and the rest was binned
No idea how they managed to make something with so much sugar taste so bad, but they did it :)

  • It states in the table Total eaches ‎12

    I’m assuming they meant sachets?

  • That's a pretty big commitment lol

  • 21grams of sugar per 100g serving. Yikes!

  • Just for reference I went ahead and got this item and received two boxes out of the 12. After messaging the store, they said the "pack of 12" is a mistake and its actually a pack of 2.
