        Dyson says it won’t happen, apparently it is a “signalling” limitation as per the video in my comment.

          There will be a new gen5detect with the mop attachment. They did the same for v15. It has different connectors/screen.

      Just bought one. I went to the showroom and had a test drive on it. Great to clean on hard floors but you can only use water with no disinfectants.
      So from $1600 (complete with 3 heads and 5 accessories) down to $1281 (delivered). Good bargain for me!
