Foodies can enjoy two tacos from Guzman y Gomez for less than one dollar, thanks to the food delivery app.

To celebrate World Taco Day on Wednesday 4th October, DoorDash are giving customers the opportunity to nab two tacos for 0.99 cents.

To enjoy the deal all you need to do is order through the DoorDash app and use add the code TACO99 at checkout. But you'll have to be quick as the offer is only available to the first 5,000 customers.

TERMS & CONDITIONS: *One redemption per customer. Valid from 10:30 AM AEST, only on 10/4 at participating stores until supplies last. Add two hard or soft shell tacos to the cart and use code TACO99 to redeem. Fees including delivery and minimum order fees still apply

        Did a test run on my account and after the discount, total ends up as $10.60 (delivery, service and small order fee) for x2 tacos delivered. Maybe worthwhile if I had Dashpass…

      Doordash is the best. Customer support is leagues better than Uber.

      Also YRMV but I've found Uber to almost guarantee there's 2-3 orders on the same drop off whereas often Doordash comes straight to me.

      Although their deals lately have been lacking in comparison to Uber.

    If you are ordering delivery, to avoid the small order fee, add some sauces or extras to your tacos, to bring the order up to $15 before the code. It should work out cheaper doing that than ordering the $3 small order fee. You could also order chips which should be $4 something.

    That will also activate the free Dashpass delivery ($15 minimum)

        Taco Bell was borderline inedible with 2 of the 5 things I ordered. It felt like far worse quality than Zambrero's or even Hungry Jack's (especially their beef)

    Yup just picked up 2 tacos for 99c total. The soft tacos come pretty loaded. 3 of them are probably equivalent to a GYG burrito.

    RRP $13.10 at my local if ordering thru Doordash.
    RRP $10.50 if ordering directly from GYG.
    Ordered the Two Soft Tacos on Doordash and selected Pickup. No additional fees and I'm getting em at 99c.

        Nah I watched him in the app deliver another order to Newington (fair enough), then drive back to the GYG at Auburn, then west on Parra Rd, got onto the M4, got off the M4 at Homebush, back onto Parra Rd, then all the way up Parra Rd to where I'm at.

      Drivers pick up multiple orders at once for DoorDash. Every driver while I was waiting to pick up my order was collecting 2-4 food deliveries. Nobody was taking just 1 order for delivery.
