  Just a heads up, in the T&C's of the competition:
  "1. Non-U.S. citizen: when the prize is awarded to a non-citizen, there is a Five step process that must be followed. 1. The “WINNER’S AFFIDAVIT OF ELIGIBILITY AND LIABILITY/PUBLICITY RELEASE" Must be signed. 2. The IRS Form W-8BEN is filed by the Foreign national prize winner to report the amount received and the 30% withholding in the prize Value. 3.Overkill will Collect the 30% of the prize Value to be withheld for taxes. 4. Overkill must fill out the IRS Form 1042, reporting U.S. Source of Income by Foreign Persons. 5. Overkill will collect the shipping and insurance fees associated and then process shipping.
  2. Shipping: Please Note, that Overkill Giveaways will not be responsible for customs or shipping fees, or insurance related to the Prize. Winner assumes the fees associated."

      To be honest, I have no idea how it works. I've just seen a few Overkill comps now and they all seem to have this as a standard in there T&C's

        I recently won a monitor and peripherals prize from corsair. They asked me complete a form for tax purposes and that was it. The prize value was ~$2500AUD.
