  • Are these 500g or 1kg rolls?

    • 1kg, only the normal black abs comes in both 1kg and 5kg

      • Cheers, was just a bit confused cause it's usually listed. Might grab a couple in this case.

        • I had it listed like 2-3 months ago but the aesthetic was off 🤌

So decided against having kg listed as the photo shows 1kg

  • Nice, might grab a roll or 2.

Any update on if you are going to do Voron again? Keen on a v0 for an early Christmas present 🤞

      🔜

      • Awesome, I'll keep an eye out!

As per usual, +1 for the transparency page.

Have purchased ~10kg of PLA, PETG, and ABS from here and stand by them.

Yep same, I've printed through a couple of kilos for table top game terrain and its great.

Maybe not the OzBargain sprit, I want them to hang around and keep putting out good filament. But at these prices it's goto be tight margins with Stripe/PayPal fees. Last purchase I did bank transfer to help out and was no issues.

      • Siddament are not charging GST, it will bite them in the arse soon

        • Interesting, had not picked up on that. Not sure it's a wise move to be playing with ATO fire.

I do be paying the gst at import, but yeah have met the threshold, once it’s the end of October (31st) the last day to lodge onwards the gst will be fixed and charged

          • @Sidddd: Congrats on 75k+ revenue! I hope your business continues to bloom. I buy a decent amount from you, will you be absorbing the GST or passing it onto customers?

            • @RADICALIST: Still contemplating, as of now once I lodge the return I’ll be having to back pay about 16-17k in gst.

I might have a 5% increase to the prices to cover half the gst.

    What does this mean?
How do you dry the filament?

  • Hey Sidd, Using PETG from a previous order and it fused together in a filament dryer at 65 degrees C , is there any chance you can publish recommended data with your filaments? You must be using a different composition than other vendors?

    • Hey! Unfortunately I don’t have the data sheets for composition on them.

What dryer did you use? Some of the dryers mainly ebios ones overshoot their temperature quite frequently. I dry mine using a food dehydrator in a tub at 70c

  • Are lighter colours available?

  • Update: Unfortunately, for me, these ABS spools don't seem to play nice with Bambu's AMS. Filament is so full on the roll that it gets caught and can't retract.

    • +1

yeah the matte abs spools definitely seemed to be way overpacked compared to normal spools, the matte abs is being discontinued due to this as well hence why it was on clearance. though the new batch of "matte white abs" is on cardboard spools and it rolls fine on the ams and has no wet issues, but its full price due to that too :(

      • I ended up drying the ABS for ~20 hrs at 55°C and printing spool rims with it. Worked perfectly - though it seemed to push up on the AMS lid a bit, so I removed the spools once I had used up some of the ABS.
