There should still be a demo. Played it and it was cool enough. Its story driven and you make choices that affect the outcomes. Price is about right.
Played this via Gamepass. Really enjoyed it, so I bought it.
The story and scenes play out differently on each playthrough so you won't see everything in one run.
In my recommended titles list. Different type of game to what I usually play. Music is okay too.
God awful writing, schizophrenic pacing that jumps from one thing happening to the next way too fast until it sort of just ends, honestly don't know how people can pretend like this garbage heap is of any quality, feel like i'm going crazy seeing how other people talk about this game.

@chepsk8: Last 2 I've heard of and look interesting but never played. I found portal avg. but it's a bit like many games, depends as a kid when you start playing and environmental influence and what u like shape your idea of good games. I'll look into the other 2.
1 of my top games was FreeSpace 2. Although I rank it highly I've sunk more hours into Mario, Zelda and Metroid games. I've found over the last decade that playing games by other genres to be a good change.
This game might be rough round the edges but it's a game category I rarely do see.

I wasn't a fan. The structure is interesting, and there are some decent moments and characters, but the writing is really shallow and contrived. The tipping point for me was when my generic teen wandered into a bar, and was not only promptly invited into a secret rebel group, but given the casting vote for their strategy.
Reminded me of choose your own adventure books back in the day :)
Was bullied a lot over those books. Especially the ones where you need to record a lot of numbers and do math for dmg and stuff.
The Fighting Fantasy books? I loved those. Surprised no one has made a visual novel of the books. I know about Sorcery but that's more novel than visual.
@ozbs25: Ha thanks for that. Went looking and there are indeed quite a few digital iterations. I was thinking more along the lines of production values similar to Japanese manga visual novels.
@Dream-cast: You should check out Omen Exitio (Western, but higher production than the Steve Jackson games) - and if you don't mind a perspective shift, Disco Elysium, Planescape Torment, Torment Tides of Numenera and Pentiment. And maybe Book of Hours, although that's significantly more convoluted.
Been far too long to remember what it was. Moved so often that I have nothing from my childhood anymore.
