Speaking of the Medibank Live Better points system, ever since they merged apps I completely don't understand how to track activities or even how to select an activity.
Also it's super slow on my Samsung S21.

However looks like you have to be a medibank member to use livebetter now. What a shame.
I had an account with 20,000 points without a Medibank member. I am not sure if I can join them to retrieve the points back.
Probably yes but you can't get additional pts without a policy. They are probably doing it intentionally to stop people like us from taking advantage of the old system =D
How do you manually track now?
Just click track manually? There is a big button, at least there has been one until I lost my access.
@truetypezk: I'm not sure if you lost access before the apps were merged but I don't think that function exists in the new app
@Gonltruck: Can't find the previous version of pick your activities every quarter that could be updated manually.
I can see 3 challenges to join for 1000 points each. There is an 'Update manually' function which is used only when challenge is completed.
@trixieb: Once you clicked on the "Update manually" it will be marked as completed and you get the pts instantly. At least it was like that a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately I just lost access so I can't really tell what the situation was like now.
@truetypezk: Thanks. Seems to be the same now. I just joined the challenge and it would be too soon to update manually/complete the challenge. I don't know if Medibank audits and will wait a few weeks.
Have you contacted Medibank as to why you lost access?
@trixieb: Coz my policy has been closed:) I don't regularly maintain any medibank policies and only buy them when I need.
@OzOzOzOzzzzz: 2/6m are always waived for new sign-ups. It rarely pays off to use 12m+ benefits anyway.

How do you automate? I have been manually going to the Google fit app and add activities.
I see the sleep 7 hours activity on the weekly Livebetter ring… but there's no manual mark for this one, and no sleep activity in Google Fit lol

I took my kid to see an eye specialist a few weeks ago and we had a chat about my kid's glasses. The doctor strongly suggested me to avoid specsaver, which I never used.
probably cause many specsavers have not employed a qualified optical dispenser (those that has completed 2 yrs of tafe course for dispensing glasses) may be due to cost saving, it is essential to fit glasses on children properly since they are still developing and only qualified ones can do it.
any qualified value chainstores?

Are you a Medibank member and you have already used yours?
Just a heads up. Staff told me the voucher cannot be used on accessories. Has to be on prescription glasses and also a Medibank pte member. They had a letter from Medibank about it

I don’t think you’d get in trouble, it even lets you enter a different name for the recipient (not that it matters anyway) 😅
Went in store and was told I could only order from the $89 and up frames.This T & C is not mentioned on the voucher itself , which just wasted my time as I was just looking for a spare pair.

For glasses purchases the voucher is redeemable in-store only at Specsavers. For contact lens purchase, unique code on voucher can be redeemed online only through specsavers.com.au/contact-lenses.Medibank members only. Present valid voucher and health fund card in-store to redeem. One voucher per person. This voucher does not affect your annual limits and cannot be used on non-prescription sunglasses, safety glasses, protective glasses, precision tinted lenses, over the counter contact lenses and glasses accessories. Not transferrable for cash and cannot be used for an eye test. Valid until 31 December 2023.

I just went into the app and it wasn't there. So I spoke to Medibank over the phone and they said it finished on the 30th Nov. 😒

Btw if anyone can't find it, its in 'Live better' section of the Medibank app, then 'Shop rewards' and you will find that you can purchase a $20 voucher for 0 Live Better points
