  • lol @ the samsung one

dont really get the iphone one, im pretty sure people know how their thumbs move.

    • It's about how big the screen is a lot of reviews say you may need two hands to hold it. Samsung will know exactly what they are getting at aha.

        oh… the Note

  • Yeah, I believe Samsung done one for the S2 as well

Don't get the iPhone one as well

  • They go from "Magical Device" to "Designed for Your Thumbs". It just doesn't have the same effect to be honest.

The Samsung ad is pretty entertaining, and perfectly aimed at their target market - people who already own Samsung.

So I noticed they avoided the fact that its a stretch to get to the camera app corner. It goes from where my thumb can easily reach toooo (skip the top corner where i have to stretch) Where my thumb can easily reach.

    love the samsung one.

    2 things i noticed

vote count on the sgs3 clip thumbs up's were winning by a mile, the apple clip not so much.

sgs3 left comments enabled, apple… well…. we all know facts are apple's worst enemy, so its no surprise they disabled comments for there ad

iPhone was stuck at 3.5" for a long time simply for that reason — single handed thumb operation. Interestingly they are still making thumb operation as the focus point in the ads for 4" iPhone 5. That means

    • Apple is compromised to the market demand
    • Acknowledgement that not everyone has tiny hands

Although I have to agree that it can be a bit stretchy to single-handed swype and then pull down the notification bar on my 4.65" Galaxy Nexus, but no way I am going to sacrifice the awesomeness of a larger screen.
