Got some Quicksilver ones about 3 years ago and still going strong.
I buy ours from Target.
Adult ones last for ages as long as you rinse them before washing.
Rashies, like any piece of clothing, will last if taken care of properly.
I have a couple of locally made Triple-X brand rashies that are decent quality.
I had a rashie after a bad date once. Was not good for sun protection but did maintain shape.
the lycra in them gets affected by chlorine and UV. Rinse them after swimming in a pool and try and dry them in the shade if you can
Try the 'surf shirts' (probably easiest to search for 'loose fitting rash vests') - these are loose fitting and so dont use lycra (or as much lycra), which is what wears out/stretches. I find them a lot more comfortable as well (plus you can wear them out of the pool/surf without looking too weird). For an adult? Seafolly. I’ve had mine for at least 10 years now.
