Come and celebrate OzBargain's 17th birthday!

Organising an event for the Canberrans in the Inner North. The menu should cater to most tastes with most items well below the $35 cap.

Old Canberra Inn is also a great option, and I think their food is a bit nicer but the location not as central. Happy to change venues based on feedback.

Seating a large group might be tricky, so let's cap numbers at approx 10 people.

  Is this event still going ahead? Currently only 3 users have registered for this event, and only 1 of them isn't going to any other ACT event.

    Happy either way, was expecting a few more given the interest in the event in Yarralumla.

    Can people please comment if they are planning on coming on the 2nd?

    Alternatively, we could push the date back in hope we get more numbers. Thoughts?

      I have registered with the other two events but could potentially switch with one. I think location and date bit inconvenient for some. Any possibility to host in Civic as that would likely increase the numbers?

        There is already an event in civic tho so doesn't make sense to have 2 meet ups in the same location albeit different dates.

        I am planning to go to this if it goes ahead and I've registered for it, but I understand that it is hard to call it a ozb meet up with just 3 people haha

    Yep we had 6 people attend the event. We had some great discussions about work life balance and travel :)

    I believe @jesho also got the restaurant staff to take a photo as well.
