Is there a deep\power clean function?

  • Yes it does. I will give that a try.
    Thankyou

  • Looks like a blocked print head. You may need to run the power-clean a few times, even tho it says not to :) My epson inkjet does this as i use it infrequently. You will end up filling the 'waste ink pad' quicker.

Once fixed, try and print something more regularly (using all the colours) to keep it from drying out (blocking the head).

I have an Epson WF2760 printer and it is like this.

As NotCheap said above, it has a blocked printer head.

Some quick googling will show you how to clean it and if that fails how to replace the head with a new one. Seem to be under $20 for a new one.

Basically happens with all inkjets when you don't print enough. The 'cheaper' inkjets have a head/ink combo as part of the ink cartridge. The 'costly' ones are ink only, so replacing them does nothing.

If you don't print much, look at a laser, either BW or Colour. Seem to always 'work' without messing about cleaning heads endlessly.

  • Google "how to clean a ink jet print head" and try it.
