Wasn't there a recall on this Philips CPAP machines? I had mine recalled and replaced.

    • Hi @FiloGuy, this is entirely new stock :)

  • +2

    price in title :) ($1485)

    • Thanks @isaw, title has been updated!

  • It's a bit disingenuous to quote the price of the free Blood Pressure Monitor but omit the $1,485 price of the CPAP machine…

Title has been fixed, thanks @UncleRico

New stock, but I'd still be wary of the foam that is used in these machines.

  • I bought a Phllips Respironics Nebulizer a few years ago (Chemist Warehouse) for my father, it's still listed on the Philips Website, but it and any of the parts are impossible to get in Australia now.

For a minute there I thought it was a new console half way between the Dreamcast and the Playstation

I wouldn't trust Philips, even though they claim they have changed the foam. They are FRAUDSTERS who've risked the lives of so many patients. https://www.medicaldevice-network.com/news/philips-knew-abou…

Not having a mention of the nature of this new stock devices is also a little disingenuous. Philips themselves published the "difference" being that they've kept the unit the same, but replaced the old disintegrating PE foam with silicon.

By this stage even if that fixes the issue, purchasing these "reworked" units is merely supporting the flagrant disregard for patients that Philips exhibited.

Personally affected by the recall in 2021 and my health suffered as a consequence. Cannot recommend buying from Philips.

You can buy from me, mine are better

    The original, and the best!

Is this price a bargain anyway? Seems normal retail to me.

  • +1

How is this a bargain, when it is cheaper else where at $1399?

  • I like my Lowenstein APAP. If you can find that for a similar price, would recommend

  • Not sure why anyone would get a Philips CPAP machine instead of a Resmed one!

The new Airsense 11 looks fantastic too!

  • Good machine but atrocious after sales service.
