Great headset, my one does a great job,

Highly recommend it over most other Wireless ones

  • Excellent price.

  • Very nice headset, great clarity on Voip and fantastic sound.

The only negative point is the ears can get sweaty and uncomfortable, I revert back to the comfort of the G330 in hot months.

  • If your thinking or looking to get a headset you can stop searching

  • Would someone recommend these over similarly priced wired Sennheisers? I've been scouting around for a little while and it seems I can't really spend less than $100.

    • It depends what you are after. Do you want something specific for gaming, something specific for music or an all rounder?

      • Well that's my trouble, I think I'm leaning towards an all rounder. Music quality is pretty important though.

        • Music quality on these is OK. They are great for gaming when you switch on the surround for most games but when listening to music you switch it over to stereo.

The nice thing with these is you can listen to music via wireless while going about your day at home. Decent range. I do recommend them as an all round headset. If you game on PC I would say these are a must have.

        • they are USB input only so you can't use them for none PC use.

    • I like my set for gaming as the virtual surround thing works decently well, enough to locate things happening around you pretty easily. It as said by others also has nice sound and voice quality. As such, using it as a gaming headset is great and if you want to watch movies/listen to music sometimes then it does a decent job at that too.

If however you're much more focussed on audio quality and excellent sound reproduction - I don't really know. To a certain extent I appreciate good sound and this set is to my ears great however I'd expect a set of good Sennheisers to be better in this area. I just haven't tried many out so I can't really say anything definitive.

    • These are usually recommended as good wired headsets

Don't know anything about the G930s though

  • I own the wired version of these headphones. I've generally avoided wireless headphones, purely out of the hassle of recharging.
I purchased a Clearchat Wireless headset and returned it within 3 days after it lasted 2 hours after an hour charge.
Do these ones live up to claims of long battery life?

    • +2

I don't use my set excessively much, but after owning them for a year or so I'd say the battery life is acceptable. Fully charged they'll last at least 6 or 7 hours as a guess, it might actually still be the full 10 hours but I haven't really tested it. You can always just charge them while in use if you want, the cable isn't too annoying.

Yeah the cable is really long and no different than using a wired headset. Charge on these last ages… having the wireless along with volume control on the side of the set is great! I've had mine for over a year now and like Alzori said the battery is still really good!

        • and its user replaceable too.

  • Very good headset but I have to give up using it as it causes wireless signal drop out on my Billion 7800NL router since I move my PC next to the router.

  • I have owned, and then returned a pair of these. So did my friend.

The problem was a 'low level hiss' in the background that is more noticable as the volume is increased.
They are rubbish compared to the, albeit more expensive, Sound Blaster Recon3D Omega Wireless headset.

    • have you tried changing your wireless router channel to something else? I think should that help with the wireless interference (assuming you have a wireless router at home).

I paid around 120 for these at logitechshop and they are great! i dont notice any hiss on mine. If anyone is worried i guess its better to buy from logitechshop for the warranty and returns.

The only thing is I get a fright ALL the TIME whilst playing with focus in bf3 mp3 etc, as these screen out external noise very well.. so much so I dont even hear my wife coming into the room and standing right behind me until she taps me on the shoulder!

    Misread something.

  • can you use it without computer?

    • +1

      Nope :(

Love my set, only set back is I can't use them with the TV directly

Tempting, but looking over at my broken g35(which I had for seven months before they broke) makes it hard to pull the trigger.

    • If the G35 broke at the ear piece connection, I have seen the logitech people will replace.

      • Yeah it did, but I don't really want to pay for shipping. Don't judge me.

        • you'd rather spend $100 on a new pair than $20 on shipping?

  • Awesome headset, I got mine for 110 and that was cheap.. so this is bargain.. some could say an ozbargain?

  • I use this headset, would recommend it. just take care of the USB adaptor, it is a tad flimsy. I am currently getting a replacement sent from Logitech.

  • Already the new Sony pulse wireless headset from OGS. If I didn't this would be a good deal.

  • great headset, good price but ……
NO Mac support, I will pass this one.

"I have a Mac and everything works great without needing to set them up. The Pseudo Surround doesn't work on a mac but sounds good to me"

      • Yes, but below features will be missing.

        • 7.1 sound
        • sleep mode when mac go to sleep
        • programmable buttons
        • Fair call.

  • Love mine though I agree they can get a little hot and stuffy in summer and they are reasonably large and a little heavy IMO.

  • They went up to 99USD + postage
