I think they check accounts before awarding prizes… I imagine it's pretty easy to check if you've paid to watch it against your Prime account. Looking at the terms and conditions and previous competitions they seem to have a vetting process before the prize is officially awarded.
Does it say in the T&C that you need to be a prime member? I could watch it at my friend's house who has prime.
