How Long Does a 45 kg LPG Cylinder Last for You?

  • A year I'd say. But I think this varies so much depending on the appliance it's used with and how often it's used. I've got a q100 weber, so it uses a tiny amount. Replace that with a 4 bnr bbq and you're going to get a very different answer.

    • I just realised you said 45kg not 9. So now I have no idea.

  • I think it would last a very long time. Think how long a large BBQ lasts on a 9Kg bottle. Now times the bottle capacity by 5 and shrink how many burners you are using at once and shrink the size of the large burner down to small. I'm guessing easily 6 months if you use it for cooking every day.

  • About 5 times longer than a 9kg bottle, give or take.

    • Haha.. Outs lasts about 18 months, pretty heavy use
