Domino's Prices for Delivery

I live 10 minutes from the closest dominos store and have always done pick-up as a punishment for being a fat (profanity).

The other day I wasn't feeling it so decided to get it delivered. They charge $8.95 here for an extended delivery fee and to my surprise, the pizza prices are also very different. A value range pizza jumped from $8 to $23 making it a total of $32 for a freaking "large" Dominos pizza. I'm in favour of having a free market but that's just ridiculous.

Is it a common practice across all Dominos or is mine too greedy?

  IMO unless you're some corporate event with company money, I think Dominos prices are mostly based on coupons. A delivered large pizza with 2 sides here via coupon is $29. For $44 you can get 3 large pizzas and 3 sides delivered. I feel like coupons have become the norm price for Dominos tbh and RRP is just for those not in the know, or to make you think you got a good deal with the coupon.

  Assuming you ordered online all those prices would have been in plain sight.

  Order over the phone and they would have told you the final price.

  You could have opted out at any time prior to giving your CC details

  You not doing it correctly, Dominos has a minimum order of $22 for delivery, at least in my state.
  Then you need a 50% off code and order two, which brings up to two premium pizzas that get delivered under $23.

  Time to de-register your Ozb account.

  Yes it is common for delivery to be more costly than pickup. Lots of extra costs hidden in the prices.

  My local fish/chips place that is less than a 10 min walk, has a burger for $10 pickup. Ordering via Ubereats its $18 delivered….. Even though they claim it is only $1.99 delivery fee.

  you can usually get 3 value pizzas delivered $27 but then it increases if you want traditional or premium etc by a few extra dollars

  also i am pretty sure if you just want 1 pizza delivered some stores have the $15 deliver 1 pizza maybe an extra $3 or so if you want premium or traditional etc but the value is in the 3 value pizzas delivered coming at $9 a pizza delivered
