Pretty amazing projector. Had mine for about a year.

Using it mainly for movies and it looks fantastic. Games run flawlessly as well with 4k60 support.

Was pretty sure it comfortably does 120hz at 1080p, but reading online apparently they can do 240hz in 1080p

Zero complaints regarding movie quality and HDR.

Has 2 Ports, one supporting HDMI eARC.

Current setup projecting 120" from 3m approx.

Although it support 3D Films, i had to book with BenQ support as the chipset requires re-programming and i had to physically take it to a service center. Unfortunately not a simple firmware upgrade you can do at home. projector needs to be opened and a service jig connected to it for re-flashing. no cost involved.

    • How is the brightness at your place / what kind of room are you running it in? I've never seen a high refreshrate projector in person and I'm sure it would be very fun!

obviously the darker the room the better it looks! it does cope really well though with low-medium light and to be fair, i should prob paint my walls something other than white to minimise reflections. I ran a HDMI cable to the projector from my PC in the next room with plans to play games on it, until i went down the rabbit hole and realised that not all hdmi cables are alike and cant push a 4k signal on it over 15 metres.

i found well priced cables that are more than suitable through Selby accoustics, let me know if you need deets.

Only 4000 hr lamp life. That's around 2 years if running 6 hrs a day.

      Only ?

6 hours per day is absolutely massive use - this isn't helpful.

For a more normal usage level, you'll probably want to replace the projector before you need to buy a new lamp 10 years from now.

Depends on individual circumstances. For me due to having multiple people watching TV at different times of the day 6 hrs is not too far off a typical day.
