@Jimothy Wongingtons - I'll leave this one to you bro.

    This is nice actually

It's a pleasant-looking watch, but a fixed bezel with the markings of a rotating bezel is a weird form of dress-ups. Not that any modern SCUBA diver would be relying on an analogue wrist-watch as their primary way of knowing how long they can stay down for, but that's another matter.

    • +1

Agree, that design of bezel should definitely rotate.
If you showed anyone that's the first thing they'd try to do.

      • +2

My pa always told me never to rotate another man’s bezel.

        • +1

That's fair enough, and don't mess with another man's ride.
It should still rotate though, or don't make it look like a diver!!

    • just got my first seiko 5 today and i have the same complaint! And with Seiko it's worse because the bezel's larger

      • +1

        Just return it
Seiko 5 are great, so many but I'd lean towards the dress watch styles

        • Its just a casual watch for me and i love the colors (model SRPK13K )

          • +1

            @nikoris: That's a good one.
Yeah wouldn't worry, none of my watches have been diving except an oris, 30m

  • Sometimes simple is the best, great looking watch.

Doesn’t have a sweeping second hand or a ticking one?

    • Almost all quartz have ticking second hand - autos are sweeping.
You could spend a bit more and get this if you want a sweeping quartz

      • Or the Mini Lunar from the other SB deal today. All the 262Hz Bulovas have that sweepy second hand.

Funny you mentioned that. Bought my dad a Precisionist in 2013 from Catch, all this while he thought it's an automatic, even thought you can easily tell that it doesn't have a winding rotor.

The watch stopped in 2017 and again last week, put in a new CR2016, it's good as new. I told him it needed a service. :D

  • I didn't need another eco-drive but that Aviator has been on my list for a bit.

  • If only the Aqua had a silver band..

    • Buy both and swap them over.

    • Aqua dial now $169.00. Might tip you over the edge to buy.

WTF dive watch without a non-rotating bezel? what is the point even lmao

    • +1

      It's not a dive watch, it's a dive-style watch.

If you don't actually go diving, but like that particular format, then why not? Save some pennies and get the look you want.

      • -1

You don't need to dive to use a dive bezel lol, if $10 chinese watches can have it, Citizen has no excuse

  • 42mm too big. do they make eco drives 38mm?

  • Usual price of around $200, so $25 saving. They have it in orange too, but full price,
