Sony A90J vs A80L OLED 83"

Looking at getting a mighty 83" OLED and cannot decide between these two models.

Currently, the A90J can be had for $6295.50 with the 10% off new Sony deal, directly from Sony.
The A80L can be had around ~$6,500.

Does anyone have any insight into which model is better? Main use will be movies but do also game on a PS5. I see most people rave about the A90J (which has a heatsink) but it's about 2-3 years older than the A80L (which has no heatsink but better chip/tech).

Can also not decide whether to pull the trigger soon or wait for Black Friday/Boxing Day deals (concern is stock).

    Lucky bugger.

    No discernible real-world difference between the two models. Either will be well enjoyed.

    Buy the new ones now, don't look back and enjoy.

    Get whichever is cheaper, you won’t notice any difference.

      Thanks. It's difficult to know whether to try and get one now, or wait for a better deal at Black Friday/Boxing Day. Decisions!

    A80L is better for this as this supports hdmi2.1.

      The A90J has one or two HDMI 2.1 ports i'm pretty sure.
