Steam isn't giving out anything… the game dev is.

Steam doesn't need to bribe people to use their platform.

You missed the point. Even the Tomb Raider giveaway was by the developer (Square Enix), not by Steam. If a Valve game was given away, then you could say 'Steam' gave it away as it's their parent company.

Steam is a such a better platform though. So when there stuff is more expensive, that's why. Epic didn't even have cloud saves for the first few years.

The M$ store is the worst though

      • I mean… steam didn't have cloud saves for many more years than epic didn't.

Imagine complaining about the quality of a free game

    wow. this is terrible.

the "gameplay" is waiting hours on end to be allowed a chance to play a minigame. there's no way to just force a play. you don't start with a free chance on first install.

this is even worse than mobile games energy/stamina systems.

Imagine complaining about a storefront just because it’s new and you want to keep your boomer-ass library.
