Are These 'broken' Amazon Listings, or Just My Account?

I needed some 1" camlocks. Found these Thornado branded ones for cheap: https://www.amazon.com.au/Thornado-Polypropylene-Threaded-Ca…

I added and go to checkout, then Amazon complains "Sorry, this item can't be delivered to your selected address." It's not the usual culprits like a remote postcode, alcohol, hazmat, or oversize - so I'm stumped as to what's going on. This problem also affects everything Thornado-branded; I can't even checkout any of their other products as they come up with the same error. Support basically just shrugged at me and didn't escalate so I dunno what's going on - if it's a listing problem or my account problem (which I doubt).

Would the brains trust kindly test the item linked above and see if you can proceed to checkout?? It'd be nice to know if it isn't just me!

Just tried for you, won't deliver to AusPost parcel locker but does to Sydney CBD address just fine.

  • Just you, maybe something to do with your location or address.

  • Fine for metropolitan NSW

  • Thanks guys; I have absolutely no idea why I can't get it to work - heck, I even had vodka delivered last week with no issues!

I would have thought plumbing fittings would have been a simple item to send, but then again I'm not the billionaire

  • It may be a parcel locker/PO box issue - I get this often but my post office offers a "suite" address - something like 'Suite 1027, 52 Bendigo Shopping center' Where 52 Bendigo shopping center is the post office and they deliver it to PO box 1027.

I pay $20 something a year for this service.

    • Except I'm delivering to a stock standard home address, so can't be that…

The only remaining option is because I'm rural - but it's Amazon Prime Free Shipping, so I dunno why that would ever be a problem, especially being shipped from an Amazon warehouse and not a third party seller. Everything else I've ordered has been fine to this address, it's just this one brand.

If you need it badly, can order it for you and then post it manually to you (or pickup in Sydney).

        • I appreciate that, but no stress - I can get equivalent ones from Bunnings anyway. These were just super cheap!

I am in rural NSW, and I get the exact same issue Switchblade88 so it must be a postal thing. I can't image what or why. Seems like an error to me.

Same thing is happening to me, Metro Melbourne with big and small stuff coming in on a weekly basis, first time ever it wouldn't deliver.

    • I get the same blocked delivery error on this item too.
