Corona Beer Made in China

Just consumed my 50,000th and last Corona beer and noticed that it was made in China.

When did this happen?

Saw an ad for this the other day: Balter's Cerveza Seemed a bit cheeky but also smart.

4%, vs Corono Extra's 4.5%. So you need to drink nine of these for every Corona's eight.

Wouldn't you rather it was made in China than Mexico? People don't tell you not to drink the water when you go to China…

Mexico's manufacturing is World Class. When the factories are made, all equipment is new and adhere to ISO standards.

Mexican made products (regardless of their brand) have better quality than products made in Australia, China or USA.

      • adhere to ISO standards

That’s what they said about MH370

Certainly not a new thing … I remember back around late 1990's + early 2000's.

there were 2 different types of Corona beer sold in AU (both with same label/packaging) - had to actually look at label to know what you bought.

unsure these days in regards to country of origin +++ in regards to CUB sales ???
presume you bought CUB - imported corona beer ???

[EDIT] … after drinking 50,000 coronas - clearly no difference to you in taste … so why does it matter?

  • China bad.
    Beer good.

    • China beer bad.
      Other Beer good
