Is anyone able to provide any personal experience or feedback on using the international travel insurance that comes as standard with the Bankwest platinum MasterCard?
I've read through the exclusions and limits etc, just wanted to source feedback from people who have used it and whether you'd recommend purchasing additional coverage etc if claims were difficult etc.

Honestly the t&c pretty good. Through covermore, which I've purchased often before. Bankwest is a new cc so not familiar with them besides the initial startup.
Actually I've never travelled without separately purchased TI so hoping someone has some personal experience that may help me decide either way.
I made a claim with them before for my mother. Broken pelvis due to banana boat incident. They covered all medical bills and business class flight home for her and dad. Whole process was pretty straight forward and it didn't feel like they were trying to weasel out of anything.
Who is the underwriter, please?
Never used it. But like all insurance policies it’s a question of how much risk you personally want to take. If you’ve read the T’s & C’s then you’ll be totally aware of the cover and exclusions.
