google already denied the rumour
Even if I think it is unlikely, Google was hardly just going to admit to the tablet's existence because someone speculated about it.
I kinda doubt it, to be honest. The rumours were sources from Digitimes, which is renowned for having hit-or-miss predictions - they basically just release rumour after rumour, just so they can be the ones to say "We knew about it first!" That, and they get the free advertising for being the source link on every single related article.
Assuming for a second that the rumour is true, it's highly doubtful that we'd be able to get it at that price (probably $149, judging by the current Nexus' $50 regional markup). It would probably be a fairly crap tablet, too - designed more to compete with eBook readers, since the specs would be fairly underwhelming.
