It gets a LOT better once you change your ship through story progression. Doesn’t take long
You unlock stuff by grinding resources but you can’t spend them until the story unlocks the upgrade. I really hate that. Lies of P did that too. Big thumbs down to both for that.
Some like the grind. I personally don't either. But I didn't find this game to be grindy. I enjoyed most of what I played (I think about 70%)
Yeah I couldn’t stick with it either, played on PS+ Extra thingamajig. Maybe 10 hours.
Rebel Galaxy was better, played it all the way through. Also on thingamajig.

They fluctuate daily similar to Amazon almost. It's worthwhile having it bookmarked and check every now and then if you like to buy random cheap games you will probably never get round to playing

I played through and got all the achievements on it via Xbox Game Pass. I think it's a decent game for $5. A bit grindy if you want to get all achievements/trophies, but if you don't care about that, then it's a decent game.
