[NSW, WA, ACT] LG Styler S3BF $1699.15 Delivered (Free LG Membership Required) @ LG.com

50
TRICKORTREAT

Found this today and ordered today.
Appears to be a discounted price only for today as the coupon expires today midnight.

Been waiting for it to drop in price so I could give it a crack. I hate ironing but don't mind a light wrinkle or two on my clothes.
Tried going in stores to test it but noone will actually demo it despite it being hooked up and water in the tanks.
Bing Lee refused to price match despite it being on clearance in their store, Best they could offer me was about $2500 including delivery.

Free delivery requires a LG account I believe.

Things I didn't know existed this morning: LG makes a steam fridge for your clothes.

    • ofcourse when korean school uniforms are dry clean only. capitalism

I just moved the dryer into my wardrobe and piped the vent straight back in. No more ironing and the mushrooms are very happy in there, win win.

      • 500IQ move especially since you're also saving on mushrooms during your grocery shops

  • LG seems to be very selective where they would deliver it to. The deal is NOT nationwide! Only NSW, WA & ACT.

Would have to email them to see if they would deliver to VIC, QLD, SA, TAS

How does this compare to the Samsung bespoke airdressor

    • +1

I believe this model still uses a condenser for drying.
The latest LG styler model uses heat pump drying.

The Samsung bespoke airdressor uses heat pump but lacks a lot of features the styler has like a shelf, moving hanger rack, and a pants press section on the door.

This model is a tad cheaper than Samsung sells these the equivalent model on their EPP store atm.

I also managed to nab an upsize cashback so it came down to 1500ish if the cashback is approved

      • What's the upsize cashback?

        • Upsized to13% with CR or SB. But finished yesterday

  • Edit: works now.
I tried to buy but none of the ACT/NSW postcodes that I tried worked. Got the error message "Delivery unavailable, contact [email protected] for further assistance" even when I signed in :|

    • RIP it just happened to me as I was on my final page of payment…

Did you have to do anything to fix it?

Why the hell do you need this to be wifi enabled? You gotta load the bloody thing to begin with…. I'm sure pressing a couple of buttons won't hurt ya!
The crap that just keeps people glued to their phones for crap they don't need. Like the bluetooth/wifi meat thermometers, let me check my phone to see if it's cooked….. Just learn how to cook lmao a task that is very limited for the younger generation. If an EMP went off, they'd be fu**ed! Wouldn't know how to spell, write or do maths. Sigh…..

  • I am a bit confused if I need this. Anyone have used it can share their thoughts?
